And I agree with Sjoerd in that there's no reason to avoid Cd. Vic.

Tolatongo report
There are 2 access routes down into the canyon. Gloria's and Grutas , we choose the right hand( straight) route into Grutas de Tolatongo and it was great. When you go swim in the caves, there is a small opening that leads to a larger cave in further. The current is strong but there is a rope to help you along.Once inside its like " Indiana Jones "! Very nice place to spend 24 hours, camping, swimming, relaxing.

You can walk from the Grutas to the Gloria's side by footpath. You will need to pay for the other entrance fee of $70peso.
Today we took a backroad route from Actipan to Pachuca via Fray Francisco. It was some great twisty pavement, with a bit of dirt riding from San Jeronimo on down.

Son of a bitch. Finally got my state department envelope in and they have sent me the wrong passport card. There is some giant headed old guy's picture on there. Fuckin' have to start over. Shit. Of all the luck.

My passport runs out in a week. So I just got the passport card to replace it. I am unlikely to be flying anywhere.
