If it's not a cruiser bike most dealers don't really care.

I walked into a Yamaha Dealer the other day to look at a Super Tenere had a sales guy start talking to me. At first it was ok, but I knew something was weird when he said, "I hate those side cases that they put these bikes that look like ammo boxes."

I then pointed at the Yamaha Super Tenere Cases that were on the wall. "You mean like those."

Him:
"Yeah, those are so ugly."

Me:

He then pointed at one of the many many cruisers they had on the floor. "So how would like one of those."

I politely said no thanks and left. Funny thing is, I rode up there on an XR650L and was in full ADV Gear holding a Dirt Bike helmet. Why would he think I wanted a cruiser.
