There is absolutely noting in Beattyville, it isn't really even a town. Just a few house and that's it.

Keep in mind that the KAT is much larger then it looks on a map. There will be places where it will be a 3 hour road ride to get to and from a base camp. I would highly recommend just staying in the many hotels along the way.

Mileage per day really depends on the riders and how often they stop. Plan on 5 days for an average rider.

No, it's still not quite finished.

Same hear. I live just south of Hodgenville and would love to help. I just moved to the area and have plotted a route east of Hodgenville I haven't ridden yet. Once I get through it and verify my gpx I created is accurate and passable, I can send it in if you'd like. I mapped it out as about 70% gravel roads with the remaining paved.

This route seems right up my alley. Ive got a 665 zumo but I have no idea to get that route on my gps.

Im on a vstrom and assume I can handle all this correct? I live close to the Lexington area and have never been off road on motos.

If theres a link to the route that would rock. Im a nobody in the adv world but would like to express my thank you to everyone that participates in finding these routes.

Here's a link to a nice local track with some gravel thrown in. See if you can load it on your gps. Rode it in April and it was fantastic. Very big bike friendly.

As for this KAT route, I think Jeff's been pretty busy and can't develope this as much as he'd like right now.
