WTB Toro Wheel Horse Tractor
Looking for a good condition Toro Wheel Horse tractor. Have many projects lined up for this spring/summer/fall/winter that a machine like this would make a lot easier.
I just had the perfect machine bought hours before I contacted the local seller. Looking for a reasonably priced machine. Something the likes of this: http://www.tractorhouse.com/listings...x?OHID=7116669 Send a PM if you know where I might find one of these |

Please! And, Thank you!
You're right, please does go a long way. Apologies. And thank you for pointing me towards those CL ads. That first one is very cool, but no mow deck and maybe just a hair older than I am looking for. And the second is one model under what I am looking for. I'm in the market for a 300, 400 or 500 series tractor.
Thank you very much for posting up a reply and I'll continue the search! |

New Haven Power Equipment in New Haven or Crosby's in Brandon are both Toro dealers and may have a line on something used. The latter is where I get parts for my Toro (smaller unit than what you're looking for).

Spad-
Awesome. I know of the dealer in Brandon. I grew up just up Rt. 7 in Salisbury. I'll give both shops a call and see if they have any Wheel Horses in stock. Many thanks for pointing me in that direction- |

I can tell you this. Stay away from a 308. My dad bought one of them new. Hated it. Dont care for the trans as the optimum grass gear was in low range and then reverse was a joke at best. The other think that sucked was the clutch system for the deck. The flat disc setup always needed to be maxed out on pressure to provoide enought drive to run the deck. John deere uses a tapered clutch on the non electrics and it doesnt slip no matter what your cutting. I would go deere but in a tractor not a lawn tractormower style. Hydros also work much better.
