Looks like a fun time. This is a short section of one of my favorite rides while I was in Alaska last year. Hatcher pass is just outside of Palmer, AK and you can take it all the way to Willow, AK. Beautiful, twisting, mostly dirt road through the mountains.

Yea I thought the buell motor was wore out but it turns out the air cleaner was clogged with KLRs

I've said it before and I'll say it again... Honda is the King of small engines. I have a 1998 Honda XR 200 that has been sitting in a storage unit for at least 5 years. Today I emptied the old gas, cleaned the carb, put in fresh gas, and it started and ran like a new one on the first kick. Now my new daughter-in-law has a dirt bike to ride with me and my boys!

I was a little bummed this morning after breakfast that I couldn't go riding today, but the good news is I think I have my diesel issue figured out. Just have to wait on a part and get it back together. So maybe by next weekend I'll have it back up and running.... Still bummed about the riding thing though. Lol

Since Switch loves to talk 4wheelers on the 2wheeler forum, I figured I'd chime in... Finally started my overhaul project with a lotta help from Rev Jeffrides of the Church Of Preventive Maintenance...

Rev said these are probably the worst carbs he's ever seen!

One has green crud in it that had eaten the diaphragm.

11 years of mud and muck packed under the fenders and in the radiator grill...
