AT Fork Conversion - KTM 20mm Axle & Fork - 26mm Hub ?

I'm planning on doing a fork conversion on my Africa Twin. I've found some forks and triple clamps from a 2002 KTM Adventure and have a 21' Front wheel from a 2005 EXC. I want to combine the two but I'm not sure if its going to be possible or not.

From what i understand, the 2002 Adventure forks clamps a 20mm axle (which i don't have yet) and the 2005 wheel in my shop has a 26mm Hub.

I guess i need some kind of spacer to convert the 26mm hub down to fit a 20mm axle.
Does anybody here have any idea if these spacers are available and which bearings I should subsequently use ?

I don't know if any spacers are available aftermarket. I made these sleeves to go into the 26mm axle spacers to run a 20 mm axle/fork.



you could easily have the whole spacers made instead of said sleeves

It might be possible to bore the axle lugs in the fork bottoms and use all 26 mm parts.

swapping the bearings would be a pain because you would still need custom spacers and/or seals which would add two extra steps to the process

You can also order the oem wheel spacers for an 03 Adventure as they will work to convert your 26mm wheels to 20mm axle KTM part # 584 09 012 000...
