Flatland racing makes all their plates and guards in Emporia Kansas. The employes running the shears, C&C machines, and welders are riders to a man. Their products are top notch, and If you have a problem they will stand behind them.

I guess you won't be making that mistake again. It's all part of the learning process.

Yeh, the last 2 (0-0) is added on for computer stock numbering or something like that as long as rest of it matches.
ps. Don't forget to follow the steps a-d starting on bottom of page 9 above.

I think they just did a re design on the WRR plate to make it even better.
One of my riding buddies bought a WRR as soon as one hit the floor in 2008, and Flatland used his bike to design all the guards they sell. Needless to say he got his for FREE Here we are last Feb out for a local back roads ride.



9000 miles, still on the original fuel pump........... third Seal Guard.

Hi. I'm thinking about getting a second set of wheels for my WRR to keep from burning up the knobbies on the street during my commute.

Most people buy the X supermoto rims. I thought for dirt road use maybe a set of 19/17 rims with Distanzias could be more useful and still fun on the asphalt. What do you think? Pros / cons versus 17/17?

people use 17s on sumo's because of the abundance of sportbike tires in that size.

no benefit to going to a different wheel size if you're not looking for sticky tires, IMO.

I found that 17's vs. 21/18 did not handle rough paved roads as well. The larger 21" front rolls over humps and drops better. It's smoother and more controlled.

If you are just riding on smooth roads with the 17s, you probably won't notice it much.

I had such a fun ride on the WRR today. Up on my folks property in the old apple orchards. The ground
was all disked and rolled after harvest and before the winter rains set in. Now it's like a giant golf course
with a layer of 4"-6" green grass growing on top, nice and tacky loam underneath. So fun to rip around
on with a fresh set of 606's .


No picks from today but this is what it looks like from a few years back.

So after sitting around for a few months waiting for my leg to heal and not being able to ride the WR, I've decided to start working on a nav tower for it to get into rallying a bit...Here's the second iteration of the tower:




I'm waiting to hear back from the vendor, but at the moment I'm planning on using one of these tweaked for a WR to cover it all up:
