Slojoe does the Puerco

Nothing to do on a warm Thur in Jan --so Slojoe and I hit the Puerco, unlike RF I didn't have my video on but Slojoe did have his camera for a few pics Here is a link to his pics and write-up over on the 225 thread.

Pretty cool. Weather has been perfect for riding. Now, if we can only get a little bit of moisture, the conditions will
be ideal. Think I will be out there this Sunday.

That definately happened, been raining pretty good here on the hill. "Ideal" might have gotten washed away till mon or tues

I've been here in CO the last couple of days. No snow or rain in canon city...could've ridden Texas creek with temps in the upper 50s.

just looked outside...it is raining now.

Joe and Sy, wish I could've been there, I'm itchin' for some NM riding, we ride the same old dried up lake here in Austin every weekend, and some urban dual sport too. See you guys in the spring maybe.

Puerco

We went in from the pipeline side down the main road--me using my GPS tracks of the area and Slojoe wanting to ride Star Wars canyon--I failed to find it coming in that way but Slojoe (naturally) found it
He aced Star Wars and headed up more arroyos than I can count--all the time telling me how he hates sand and needs to stay on the main roads
