I have several VHF and UHF ht's that I use for the race bikes,send me your freqs, and I'll program them for the ride. Also have some chase radios if another support truck needs to use it.

I won't have it for this run but my ultimate plan for the KLR is to stash a 50W amplifier in the tail box I'll be running and one of those small/light batteries to run it (with the bike charging that battery as I ride). I'd then weld a tab to the tail box frame for a 5/8 wave no ground plane antenna.
I figure the KLR is such a pig it might as well have some special features.
