I've got my eye out for a cheap dual sport or smaller street bike. I'm about to move soon to a new place and will have to keep my nice FZ6 and dual sport in a storage unit a few miles away. I'm trying to keep my commute costs down and miles off my truck.
Ratty, ugly, needs some minor work, etc. is not a huge issue. Beat up KLRs, DRs, 250 Ninjas, and so forth are what I have in mind. Nothing pretty as the bike will likely live outside quite a bit and be ridden almost daily. I'm located in Tallahassee; would drive up 100 miles to pickup. PM me of you need to make some room in that garage or shed!

Its not ratty, I would go so far as to say it looks pretty decent, but I thought it was a good deal for $1200. I have seen worse ones for about the same. http://panamacity.craigslist.org/mcy/3527584298.html

Okay - I pm'd motomike with what I have, he said he was interested - I will say that it is no ones fault that I was too stupid to keep the title open when I never planned on keeping the bike in the first place (like I said - it was just a favor for a freind), so I'll go buzztail with my '97 e-start 400 LC4 and eliminate the $145 registration fee and call it an even 1000 bux. I will update that thread next. Feel like shit. Have the flu. Two days now.

WTB 125cc two stroke
FOUND I'm looking for a 125cc or 250cc two stroke that's at least 2005 or newer. Must be a dirtbike and not china crap.
Now for the bad... I'm cheap and wanting to spend under $2000. I would like to offer more but I have to pay for the other 47% to live. I'm located between Orlando and Daytona and I really don't want to drive over a hundred miles for a bike. Let me know what you may have. Will consider 95 cr125 or 94-96 cr250

I have a Gift Card for Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley Davidson for $276.07.
I special ordered a part that turned out to be back-ordered indefinitely and was unable to get a cash refund. I'd like to get no less than $250, or trade me something interesting of equal value. I will happily meet you anywhere including the dealership to drop it off to you and/or verify it's validity. Post a reply here or better yet PM me. Thanks!

2000 cbr929rr wtt
I am the second owner. I bought it in '05 with 21k. It now has only 32k. So you see I don't ride it very long. I am 6'5" tall and have come to the realization that it is torturous on my body. I thought about putting dirty bars on it. However, Instead of screwing up an excellent handling machine, I concluded I may as well just get something with forgiving geometry all the way around from the start. For those that don't know, the 929 is fuel injected and makes a claimed 150hp yet weighs less than 400 lbs. Many feel Honda screwed this package up when they went to the 2004 1k's Then had oil consumption issues with those after that. So 929's are still highly praised and sought after. This particular example has been stored indoors it's entire life. It is unmolested and unabused. I, as well as the PO, change the oil every 2500 with Honda HP-4 semi-syn. They only mods are 2bros pipe(nice and thoaty without being obnoxious), steel-braided brake lines, tinted windscreen, smaller turn signals, and special pearl white powder coat on the wheels. It has a recent gold chain and sprokets, yuasa battery, newer front pilot power, rear has another thousand or so remaining, new wheel bearings when I did the powder. I have all the original parts plus the factory painted rear seat cowl, and an extra front seat. I am looking for $4800. or I will trade for a farkled KLR, DR, XR, DL, KTM, Dual-sport. Comfortable standard?, Etc... I really am gonna regret this but I want to go on an adventure ride ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() __________________ I used to do drugs. I still do but I used to too
