Anyone know the condition of the trails at Rampart?

And does anyone know if the gate is open at the North end of Rampart Range Rd ( above Sedalia)?

The gate for the road is closed but you can access the trails. A few weeks a there was not much snow but what was there was hardpacked and icy. North facing and shady spots held icy pockets. Saw several bikes in Sedalia on Friday.

It's rideable, there will be some packed down snow that turned into ice from the quads on the main, busier, trails but it's definitely doable. Behind sprucewood is probably the best right now. During this time of year I usually go and park behind Sprucewood, ride the stuff behind there and then cross the street and dip into the main trail system.
