Fuck!! Shit!! I'm really sorry guys. I took a wrong turn. For some stupid ass reason I headed back the same way we came! By the time I got to 4 corners I knew I fucked up.

I hope you didn't wait too long for me or worse, come looking for me. I will have to get a couple of phone numbers next time.

It was really nice seeing everyone. Thanks for the fun ride!

I still feel like an idiot taking the wrong road! Holy shit, how hard can it be to get lost with only a few fireroads to follow each other on! All in all it's a blast riding with you guys!

FWIW, I'm amazed at the Baja Designs lighting.

Look at those nice friendly THORNS on that branch. Had one of those stick right in my finger, BAM, right to the bone. I was nervous pulling it out, if a chunk gets caught in the bone......

Anytime these crazy f'ers say, "Yea, you can make that no problem!" I know I'll be pushing it. It's good though, to have someone have patience and help ya learn. Grinchy is good about it, a few weeks ago he came back to make sure I was ok after having a hill climb bitch slap me to the soft granite outcropping on the Cadillac trail.

You would have had some more damage pics if you had stayed. For some reason, HBMichael kept dumping his bike to the side...in grass...in poison oak, and finally, a nice cruncher into some granite boulders. Gas tank furrowed, muffler punch marked, and turn signal explosion. Usually that's me! Was good seeing you again, you always make me laugh, and it's nice having ONE other person that doesn't drink LOL!

thanks to this wonderful weather and the fact that our forestry department doesn't like to work our gates are closed and will most likely remain closed for the next week until she dries out.
Wish it was open, man it would be epic. But since we taxpayers are at their mercy we get the poo end of the stick.

Fuck me, i just read the last 150 pages of this thread. just bought my plated 650r Friday...I Live in Trabuco canyon next to Holy Jim.
Can't wait to meet some of you crazy bastards up there sometime. Think the silverado gate will open by Friday? Where do u guys buy your passes?

Come on down. We ride every week. I live just above the entrance to holyjim/ trabuco canyon off of plano trabuco.

We should meet up.
No passes unless you plan on parking a vehicle. Most guys here boycott the passes anyway as I am sure you have read.

Thorsday will probably be the next ride. Grinch and Nelly will be riding tomorrow I'm sure and why not, got the day off work..../sigh I know it will be epic, enjoy.

I'm up and down Trabuco Creek quite a bit, there's some really good things to practice skills on.....if you know where they are. Cook's, 6:30 pm Thorsday. Good place to start.......drinking that is.

We never drink and ride, gotta keep both hands on the damn bars...although, a camelback filled with adult beverage might work.

Sounds good, I stop at cooks all the time, have to do a shot everytime I pass, which is often. I mostly ride street, but after a 500 mile street ride taking me through Ocotillo a month ago I got the itch for dirt. If you guys are down for a day ride tomorrow I am in. I currently work nights so nights aren't going to work for me, not to mention my BD kit took a shit on me on my way home from the purchase.

Good to hear no damn Adv pass needed
