You know, a tall 990-R does seem like the perfect beefy big bike for Big Todd.

I bet that bike would have survived that dip on the LAB2V trail without bending the suspension. Of course if you get it you will then probably go faster and find an even bigger dip to bottom out in.

Give Big Todd a faster, more nimble, better suspended bike and .......

Took the little guy up to CNF today thinking I could get some practice time in under the radar as I'm not ready for you guys just yet. Maple Springs gate was closed and I didn't feel like driving around the moutain in my truck to find another gate.

BigTodd, was it true that these bad boys were carrying a price tag of mid 14K? I was just cruising the websites to see if KTM was bringing back any 950's. I'd like to get something I could take on longer distance instead of my TE610. 14K is kind of a big coin to drop on 'another' bike. Also, I've never tried an orange before.

The number I was given was estimated at $13.5 ... pricey for a second bke but compared to a new GS Adventure kitted out the same, it's half

If I wasn't commuting every day on a bike ... need one too.

My bad move was for what the GSA cost, could have picked up an SE and a sport tour commuter bike. Couple of years ago I just didn't know any better, thought the GSA would be my perfect "one" bike set up
