Obviously those with their panties in a wad have a shallow view of the fucked up world we live in. Very few will ever experience a fraction of the Love, Loss, joy and grief of life's hard lessons that Peterman has endured. He brings a fresh hard edged perspective to situations. If your offended then you are blinded and don't get it. Throat Cancer is a horrible situation. I lost a friend and then my favorite Uncle within a year to it. I wish Robert and Gitana the best as it is a rough road. Even a tasteless sick joke can be a bright spot on a dark day.

Have the cats found a home? If they were closer we would take them. Heck, we take any and all unwanted cats. Well maybe not all, we are at 9 now and it is tough to keep up.

I thought Peterman's post was pretty insensitve. I can't imagine mocking this situation. And for those of you who thought it was okay? Wow. I really don't care if you think I, and others, have thin skin. My topic, my tragic situation, and I found it offensive. And that's really all that counts, isn't it?

No, the kitties have not yet found a home. Transport can be handled if someone would like to give them a good home. Robert is having to stay in the hospital until his treatment is finished, and it will be a long recovery afterward. I hope his cancer will be in remission, but that's not a given.

Peterman goes in to get sloshed in a bar in Eugene, on his bike, comes out and his bike is missing, comes here to whine and lament and gets 7 pages of commiseration about the "thieving bastards" who stole his ride.

Gitana posts to help ease the anguish of a very sick friend, and gets sick jokes from Peterman. When inmates object, Peterman defenders rush to aid, explaining that anyone who doesn't know P-man can't possibly understand his own personal torment, need to cut him slack, grow thicker skin, etc.

How very odd.

Gitana - you posted some very supportive notes for/to me when I battled lymphoma a couple years ago. There are a lot of effective treatments out there now, for all forms of cancer. I hope your ex pulls through just fine. I'd take the cats myself, but competition with the four Persians we have would be unpleasant, I'm sure.

there used to be a great guy on here, "Mack" you noobs wont know of him, he checked for out for good in 05', it wasnt the cancer that took him out, its was effects of depression.
You dont kick someone when they are down, doesnt matter even if its coming from your campfire comedy messiah.

some people's pets are family, I know hard for many to grasp, but to be bad off enough to give them up, he must be in rough shape. you encourage those struggling, not use them as a butt of a joke.
