Imo, can be done wo knobbies with careful line picking and if it doesn't rain. Otoh, the bike with the knobbies today took a nap after crossing (almost) a small log

It's an abandoned railbed.

At least we think so- don't know about ghost trains

Our first spot proved to be too slick-- but should be a great drop when it's not soft over frozen. And this railbed might be rideable for a while. Passed it a million times, so

to Barry for suggesting we try it.

New Tag

This cracked slimy dirt is really strange... must be a winter phenomenon.

The duck is under a rock shown by the arrow.

You can find a hiking trail here marked by white blazes, and this must have been the gap that Pocahontas' boyfriend found

Actually, there was a rumor that a couple of old farts were going to look for a duck today, but the leader of the pack got a "code-in-da-nose". Wonder what the snow pack is like there?
