I'm not big on trials bikes and I'm not big on british bikes but I'm big on cool bikes and that's one of the coolest sets of bikes I've seen in a long time.
those things rock! |

Great pictures
Thanks for posting those great pictures. Nice to see the great quality photos of these vintage bikes actually being ridden rather than being bid on.

![]() I like this. Thanks for sharing. I think this is a 1977 or so Indian Enfield? Looks just like the one I am building up. AHRMA calls them Premier Heavyweight bikes. Dave |

[QUOTE=darmst6829;20598561]I might be wrong but its in a pre-65 event so I doubt it.

Looks like a Brit one with a special frame or adapted - swingarm looks standard Brit with adaptations, upper shock mount forward from standard. Chassis definitely not Indian, nor front brake - and the finning on the exterior of the oil tank cast into the sump is different, too (more like my '51 English Bullet than my 2003 Indian one).

[QUOTE=darmst6829;20598561]According to the program, it is a 1958 350cc Bullet.

[QUOTE=regomodo;20599059]It would probably come down to the host organization's rules as to eligability.
A pre-unit Enfield could be considered "spirit-of" pre-65 just as many of the new aftermarket frame and bodywork bits sold today are, assuming the component was as "back in the day". |

[QUOTE=England-Kev;20601294]My Indian built machine looks mostly the same as this 58. The gear shift surrounds the kick start shaft just the same as mine. My bike uses the same 1/2 width hubs. Very nice to see an original machine.

![]() Good god man!! you'll have the vintage boys "Tsking" and there's no greater show of displeasure than a Tsk! I know I was on the receiving end of one for having an incorrectly marked timing cover on my 500 Ariel. |
