Awesome idea, far out of my price range.

Maybe someday though!

Well amidst all the BS argument about bicycles and motorcycles I put myself on the list for one of the FX bikes. We will see if it ever makes it across the pond from New Zealand to the USA. Hope so. I could have a lot of fun goofing around on one of those things!

Enough already with the bicycle vs motorcycle stuff! Just ride!

i didnt know that was a question...man, Im sorry for that...yet thanks for calling me a fool!

like most things it depends on the quality...for example a lot of motorcycle shocks are claimed to not be rebuildable yet they are...

so thats probably what happened at your cycle shop...like most dealers most cycle shops suck mechanic wise...you need a specialized store that can do it for you...this is not to say that all suspension is rebuildable...
anyways

more pics of the cool bike...

later

+1 on the awsome Idea

If I had the money, I would buy one in a heart beat!

To bypass a lot of EPA hassle you could sell it as a "kit" bike with proper DOT bits and assemble it yourself. Bike cost and shipping would be cheaper as well.

You will have better luck with 48 states, New Jersey is also about impossible for any small manufacturer.
There are a few engines already that would pass but they are not as durable for offroad and are cluttered with plenty of emissions equipment , that a 125cc is about as powerful as an offroad only 90cc engine.

I love the bike, and the idea, plus the ambition, but I travel down a very similar road a few time a year.
Shush you. We want lightweight bikes in CA too. And it's a big market - my county has more people in it than your state

It's a great idea, but would be SHOCKED if this actually happens (street-legal version).

Start with 48 and then go for 50, if it is successful. The engine looks like a CT110ish/Lifan motor which may already be legal in many states. Or even in the country of California

Pedals put it in a whole other category, legally speaking. Opens up a lot of additional riding, but who wants to ride something with floating pedals when you don't need them?
