Too old to have "free" time, too young to retire and too poor/broke to be able to take any day I want to go for rides longer than about an hour total. Weekends are the only time I can run for anything not nearby and 70 degree days are nice, but certainly not mandatory. I did squeeze in a short lunch-time ride today though. Couldn't pass that up.

No Ray that doesnt count. You ride to work even if the temps are around 0
![]() I rode to Apex and back today with the newly installed GPS I bought on eBay. Also bought a helmet with bluetooth so I can use the GPS with my phone

So I just checked out the tag site. I am interested!!! I think that will be a fun little day trip with or without the bike (and take friends along as they don't ride..... I miss that, having buddies around as friends that ride). Thanks for posting this little gem up. When down in Tuskagee I went to the hanger museum there. Smaller than this, it was still nice to take time and read all the material and grasp the significance of what an artifact truly represented. And Fishhunt.. nice to meet ya!!!!
I did ride today but can't take the time to ride west. NCS

Are any of you Easterners getting any of this weather we've been having here in the mountains? 4" of rain since this morning and more on the way. Suppose to get snow in the upper elevations later tonight. Be careful out there.

Shameless plug but.....
We, Boy Scout Troop 450 is sleeping in cardboard boxes in a camping for cans to raise money/food for our local food bank. If any in King, NC stop by Trinity UMC for a cup of hot chocolate and to drop of some can goods.
