2013 PNW Motorcycle Calendar of Events

It’s vacation planning time and thought it would be cool to have a running calendar of events for the PNW riders (OR, Wa and ID). It’s hard to keep these things straight and I’ve missed a few due to my poor planning. I'm thinking we could use this one for more Dual Sport Events, PNW Adv Rallys, MC Shows, Tech Days, Adventure Rides etc. Pure Racing Events, and Cruiser Events seem to have their own sites, so unless it’s a big/interesting one lets' keep them there.

If it’s motorcycle related and interest to ADV Riders post it up. If there’s popular events/rallys in nearby states/provinces that pull lots of PNW Riders feel free to add that as well (please include link). I’ll check the thread regularly and move items up to this first post, or PM me. If this works, I’ll have it sticky’d.

Of course there is July's 2013 PNW Ladies Adventure Ride on July 26th - 28th (clicky linky)

October's first weekend will still offer the Hood River Valley Rally,
but after Little Possum coined it the Apple Valley Rally recently,
I think that name will likely stick.
So....please add the Apple Valley Rally for October 3rd through 6th; Thursday - Sunday

The event organizers plan on making a significantly longer appearance this year
MUCH thanks to all those who made the best of it last year

can't find anything official, but that's the nature of the event

- show up noonish, no host bbq, bring a dry stick to add to the fire, or coals or whatever. Go ride after you eat and gab where you think your bike works and on the way home, not a rasta thing, although there may be, uh, 'safety breaks'

it was cool last year- this is the 9th or tenth annual I think.
