Any interest in a North Texas Ride & Camp in April?

I was wondering if there would be any interest in a Ride & Camp on the weekend of May 11th.

The location is 90 miles west of Ft Worth, near Possum Kingdom Lake.

Meet up in Graham Sat morning @ 10 am. Ride all day then back to camp Sat night, then ride Sunday til quitting time.

Riding mostly Farm to Market roads, with very light dirt roads.

If there are a few guys that wanna meet up, let me know!

I have a big Goldwing hack......do you think I could get by with this on your camp and ride, I can fly the car if I need to, and have on occasion.

Charritto, I would have a bunch of questions about your Alaska trip.

I got a pretty good trip planned around here, we have some excellent roads around PK & to the west. I am a slow rider, like to go easy, lotsa deer to dodge (& stray cattle).

Keep up with this thread. If we can get a few more riders, well make some concrete plans.

Dirt won't hurt it, just can't get into the really rough stuff. I have been on some super curvy roads, such as the Highway 1, Pacific Coast Highway in upper Cali......and pulling a trailer, so the sidecar can get around a corner I say. I ride FM roads alot around here.

I got a route that covers 3 forts & 5 lakes in mind.

Ok, I've been figuring, it might be easiest to just meet up Sat morning, ride all day, camp Sat night, ride around til after lunch Sunday.

I was thinking about meeting up in the town of Palo Pinto. It's just west of Mineral Wells on Hwy 180. What time is the earliest we could meet? 9 or 10?

I've got everything needed to sleep at my deer camp, bunk beds, blankets etc.

I was thinking Sat lunch @ Ernie's Mexican Food in Breckenridge, Sat night supper @ Fox Hollow on Possum Kingdom Lake. I'll have breakfast ready Sunday morning @ camp, Sunday lunch @ Mary's in Strawn.

Of course this all depends on weather. If it's rainy or real cold, we will have to re-schedule.

This is an area that we have been exploring for future Roll The Bones Rides. Would like to meet up with some locals to the area. For me will kinda depend on when this goes down...I am having another gathering end of April or first of May
