This may be a bit of an assumption, so take it for what it's worth, but Rotopax is sold in Canada (I have one) and I can't imagine there being any issues with it coming across the border. Unless of course you are transporting something other than fuel ![]() c |

What size is that MSR?
They carry so little. Hmm I'm planning to strap a 2gal and a 1 gal jug on my bike. |

RotoPax
The RotoPax are allowable to enter here in Canada full of fuel. they are approved color, self locking cap and marked with FUEL on them. I had one went to and fro many times now run a Koplin as my RotoPax was stolen. Never had one crush out on me like some else asked about or commented on way earlier in the thread, However I did have an issue with a slight leak that I emailed them and they mailed me out a new nozzle and cap right away. It goes on the tail of the bike on the rack and cargo strapped down as I also strap a tool roll to it at the same time, never moves rattles unless i want it to . I think it's a Great deal

I've got a couple of old flat plastic 1/2 gal oil containers, one from Citco, one was Yamalube. They have flexible spouts, with screw on caps.
Wonder how they would work as fuel containers?

I don't usually worry about distance between available fuel stops...

Just a 2 litre supplement...standard fuel tank on the XT660Z Ténéré is 23L so 25L (6.6 US Gallons) gives good enough range with my average of about 51 US mpg......(my best easy cruising was 62 US mpg)
Benefit also of having a single cylinder. [IMG] [/IMG]
