Mac, Did the Burgiss referral work out? If not, who did you find?

All the best to your friend.
Very nasty accident and glad that he survived

I hope that trucker gets some fucking PRISON TIME

Its an accident ... I hope the guy that lost his foot got a few million for it. There are worse things to lose. like an arm, or leg, or life... Not saying I think the trucker is a wonderful guy but, prison time for and accident is a bit harsh.

We heard about the accident, and we hope you recover okay.

We have a going bet on the kind of foot you're going to replace it with. So far the favorite is a heavy, cast iron boot with spikes, so you can kick even more asses with more force than ever. And if a truck ever hits your foot again, it will hurt the motherfucking truck.

Anyways, attached is my facebook tribute. We're not facebook buddies, so this was the only way I could think to show it to you.

I cut off a finger, granted its not a foot, but you would be surprised how little it hurt. Would bet he didnt even notice at first. Cant believe it didnt catch something else on the bike and put him down, very lucky.

Its great that they support him on facebook but that post is a little nuts, 10,000 decibles, and maybe he could swear a little more. They probably should not be bringing up his "roadway vigilante" experience, they can turn that around to make him out to be something he isnt.

Hope he makes a full recovery and they have some really nice artificial feet nowadays.

Wondering how your lawyer search is going? Wish I could be of more help there. If Burgiss didn't work out, let me know. I have some close friends still in WY and can ask them to help. Best Wishes to both of you!!
I'm new on the forum and have seen numerous comments how the rider had "time to avoid." Maybe he was avoiding at the first hint of an issue and if he hadn't would have been hit square head on. Lucky and tough guy. I wish him the best in his recovery.

Best wishes to your buddy.

Sadly, it is not over. This is just the beginning of him living his life with one foot. Those who don't have to do it may not realize the inconvenience and how it limits your life.

Many of us have been on crutches at one time or another but that obviously doesn't compare.

Having Balkan blood I would expect him to be tough... and a bit crazy.

I'm surprised the company settled so quickly. Hope he feels he received a fair settlement.

Hope he gets fitted perfectly so he can live as normally as possible.

This is why I always tell people to watch out for the damn cars. They have crush zone so they don't pay much attention. We are the crush zone so we do.
