You heard it here first, DAKEZ is selling Trophies from his shop for 'well under $20k' out the door.
Head to Portland and take him up on it.

Plan a Fly and buy. Right now there are two available but I'll pick you up at the Airport, provide a room at the Oxford suites and get you on your way. (no sales tax in Oregon)

My point exactly !
Quote:
At 11k ( I can get a slightly used version with 2k worth of do-dads on it for 10k) its a heck of a lot of bike. I am going to ride another Sprint GT this weekend and if I like it I am pulling the trigger. Its got a phenomenal motor and a classic sport touriing set up with great bags for a great price. Under-rated ( although and another post says .." MSN gave it 4 1/2 stars") and undersold bike that is discontinued here in the US. I figure I'll ride it for a couple of years and trade it in on the Trophy when the mania dies off..

Heh. I guess I used the wrong term.
As I approach 40 I seem to be having a reverse mid life crisis. Instead of loud, impractical motorcycles I find myself drawn to things like ABS, traction control and low maintenance. Its a sad state of affairs, truly. fxrjon screwed with this post 01-30-2013 at 08:28 AM Reason: safety and comfort |

![]() You do know that you don't have to include the picture when you quote right? But if you like the Tri-Glide so much send me a PM... I'll hook you up.

posting before coffee is unfair to some =)
Also, not a huge fan of the way the ultra trikes handle. Used to build them when I worked at a dealership and never could get into them. |

The GT is a phenomenal bike. It's the perfect bridge between a sportbike and a FJR/C14/etc. At the MSRP they are a good buy, at the current discounts they are a STEAL!

You were there? What did you buy? If I remember you were loading on a trailer in a parking lot east of me?
