My Wife and I attended that last VBR and it was a hoot! This was the first time for each of us to witness trials riders in action. We literally stood for over an hour at a time watching riders scale a very near vertical 15' wall. We'd watch them over and over and still we could hardly believe that it was even possible to do what they were doing. Then we'd watch them balance the bike on the back tire and jump it from one large boulder to another that was several feet away. They seemed to defy gravity. Anyway, we had a great time.

The 08 rally was a blast, the location is beautiful and it is surrounded by fun roads.
I'm running up to Duluth tomorrow to get my custom Darien pants altered AGAIN! I must be the most unmeasurable person in the world. Just looking at the 08 banner hanging there makes me want to immediately register for this year. |
