1 pace ~ 2.5 feet so 160 paces ~ .08 miles....

If its too far away I'll happily bring it back down to the valley

I'd say yes to both, you can't miss the graffiti and the rat is just across the trail from the graffiti. Right underneath where the two branches intersect

It translates into the RAT being across from the old sign post.

Oh I was just wondering what the translation was in case someone was to accidentally ride to the location if they had a small bike. noone would ever do that though. that's against the Federalist rules!

No way that was a great Tag in my opinion. i was talking with some coworkers here and passing out the link to the game and got some terrific completely insane ideas from someone. He asked me would it be against the rules if someone was to leave it under a pile of stuffed animals inside a toys r us hey does it cost money to enter? Nope. Then another nutter idea: what if someone hid it in one of the free trolleys that run around downtown roanoke, with no bus number Cost money to enter? nope. now that I've thrown that stuff out there Lord knows what will happen to this thing.

So you did say fire roads are fine correct. I am more likely to leave it under a rock in a mud puddle than a toys r us. I have spent enough time in there with the kids

haha! yeah I dont expect anyone to leave it in a store, but you never know. Fire roads are good to go! I'd say anywhere is good long as it doesnt get you arrested, cost money, or require ironman physical prowess and multiple hours hiking/swimming.

I rode in to work today. The 3mi ride home in city traffic today should be about all I can handle during a raging thunderstorm. That would be an epic Grab!

Then another nutter idea: what if someone hid it in one of the free trolleys that run around downtown roanoke, with no bus number Cost money to enter? nope! now that I've thrown that stuff out there Lord knows what will happen to this thing hahahaha! Oh yeah this other idea: cut out the marker inside of the upper portion of the rat to turn it into a gift card holder to add tremendous motivation to find it in the stuffed animal pile. I can see the 2 or 3 bikers with their helmets and gear on at the same time in the toys r us panic ridden running around looking! "This might not even be the right toys r us dag nabbit!" *DING cleanup on aisle 7 please, and 8. Suspicious character on aisle 9 please investigate*

You know, with so many great roads and places in that part of the world, I'd hate to see this particular game devolve into something that, you know, "clever".

Just my 2.

I'd much rather ride than dig around some f'ing pile in a store full of people I chose not to be around in the first place.

yeah it is supposed to be about riding. I doubt any of that craziness would happen, but if it did there would probably be some tightening of the ropes. if that kind of game was to start it would have to be called the great race or whatever the latest "reality" "survivor" type of tv show is called.

I am watching this like a hawk. First chance I get to bring it to the border, I am there.
This game contains some of the greatest unknown riding areas. I am looking so forward to joining in on this game.
Unfortunately I am heading to WV in the cage in the morning.

Those parking lots are usually packed on weekends with folks hiking the trail.I'm predicting it will be gone if no one picks it up before then....
