OK - so I just got done with another rustic road weekend. Very fine it was. I picked up 10, 86, 88, 84, 87, 96, 20, 19, 81, 27, 29, 12, 42, 43, 37, 82, 63, 39, 38, 8, 109.

Of those 88 and 63 seem to be missing the number signs. 88 has a post, with no signs on it at all, just the post.

Four of those were repeats, 3 of which were to get number signs I missed before, and one because it was there.

I think this leaves me with 10 roads to get.

As for RR20, the bridge is still there, but has a dirt burm across each end, as well as some "closed" signs, to prevent crossing. However, whoever put them there must be an ADVer, because they left "just" enough room at one end of the burm to get a largeish dual sport past. So I rode over the bridge anyway. Do so at your own peril. It is not in good shape. I hereby officially advise you not to cross the bridge, on your own head be it etc.

When I did RR88 in 2010 there was no sign then. Corner of Cold Spring and Carnes roads.

Maybe I'll write to Wisconsin and tell them some of their signs need sorting out.

I rode down to Milwaukee today to see the new BMW/Triumph dealership on west Silver Spring. I rode Rustic Road 65 on the way down. It is a nice but short ride through some pretty country.

What else are you going to do on these cold dark nights? Get yer maps out and start scheming. There are a number of folks who are getting close to a sticker. There are some others who could get pretty darn close with a 3-day weekend of rocking and rolling through the countryside. There are plenty of stickers left and the snow will melt before you know it.

I have covered 100 of the rustics, I intend to nab the remainder on a long weekend in spring.

Looking forward to that.

It can't snow anymore right? The weather caused the pre-season to last long enough that no one should have any remaining mechanical issues and bikes should be all shined up and ready to RIDE!

I have a weekend lined up to get my last 12 rustic roads.

The weekend I had lined up in spring was snowed out.

But I have planned another weekend.

Basically if all goes well, I'll have them all by the end of may.
