Thanks |

Were you looking for hotel of camping? If its camping you are looking for, there is a great city run campsite right in town, showers, and laundry. And mere 2 blocks form main street.

Heres where I stayed http://www.arcticchalet.com/cabins-rates.php
I booked it more than a month in advance because in the middle of June there was an Oil Industry Conference. |

Stayed there a few years back as well. Up stairs in the big house. It was all good. Two thumbs up.
They have a very good tourist info place in town. Worth the stop even if you have reservations already.

Inuvik Hotels
Check this out: http://www.mackenziehotel.com/
I was there in 2010 The hotel was new. Did not stay there but ate at the restaurant. Reason did not stay was we did Eagles Plains to Inuvik and back to Eagles Plains same day |

Those darn birds landed on our tent and pecked a hole in the rain fly to get at the poles underneath. Loud S-O-Bs as well. Don't let the locals see you harass them though. Something about being sacred... there maybe some kind of territorial ordinance against killing them. Oh, and they are damn smart as well.
BTW: In both of my travels up there, I've stayed at the campground outside of town (Jak Territorial Park). It has a great tower to watch the sunset... or lack of sunset in the summer as I've experiencd. It's not a motel/hotel, but they have showers and power at a couple of sites and wifi. What more do you need

You should go to the Mad Trapper Inn or bar. I think it is still open. Interesting place.

Stayed at the Mackenzie Inn/Hotel last summer. I don't remember the exact cost, but it wasn't all that expensive and it was very nice. After spending a day in the rain and mud, it's worth staying in a comfortable place for a hundred bucks or so.
