It actually worked out fine. I get to try out a free agent for four weeks, without having to drop an RW for nothing.

A little heartburn there for a day or so though.

Wow, and it only took 89 roster changes to get here. The curse of the late drafter....who took the odds of a middle draft after doing several mock drafts. Persistence....it is still a good thing.

Dang, I thought it would be Czech that was slamming the win....congrats Lotto....looking forward to the short week,,,good luck to you. (I say that to all my victim's, but I am not so confident...my boys are not shooting the puck like they should be. No smoke, no fire.)

You turned over almost your entire team to take advantage of Sunday's game? At the beginning of the week you didn't have a single Ottowa or Boston player.

That's not how we play around here. In previous years I've locked the transactions down for the playoffs to avoid this kind of thing. I didn't think I had to this year but apparently you didn't get the memo.

Even so, there is no way they can pull ahead....covered on goalies, and there is not a very good player in the lot. Krejci has been lackluster all year, I dropped him. As far as I am concerned this game does not count, you won fair and square....I could not get a confirm on the King and did not even get to take advantage of his shutout yesteday. Engrave the trophy with your name and collect the t-shirt...

You did not send out the memo.......and since you drafted a lot higher than I did...stop complaining. I had to take advantage, or try to of every opportunity with that lot. And Quick did not help for anything this year. Just terrible. a

Well, it's the end of another ~~long and bitter season~~ season and we have come to the end of JoMomma Toxic Hockey 2012.

The seedings for the playoffs held fairly true:

The Champion LottoPucks

were (3)
2nd place votre fromage suce was (1)
3rd place le fromage dangereux was (4)
4th place Czech players was (2)

The 5-6-7-8 teams all fell in the quarterfinals.

Le fromage dangereux has now placed in the top 3 for 3 consecutive years without winning it all. I think they need to change their name to Le Requin, as the best team never to kiss the trophy.

(poor Grainbelt)

Since we have a small core of regulars I think we'll go with 2 keepers for next years teams, with any new teams being compensated with high picks for the first three rounds. (New teams draft first anyway and then reverse order of finish).
