Here's some more info from FaceBook
![]() Details details! May 24th-26th 2013 ELMHIRST’S RESORT KEENE, ONTARIO, CANADA KoL 2G0 PHONE: 1.800.461.1940 or 705.295.4591 elmhirst.ca The EOAR has returned for another year with an added feature. To honour our fallen rider and friend Dr Cool, Dave Morrison. As the rally will remain largely unchanged we will be adding some Dr Cool features.... More details to follow as they become clearer. Rest assured that those details will be everything Dr.Cool from riding to beer and everything in between. This will also be the event where the draws of the raffle will be held.... More details on this to follow as well... Arrive Friday evening. Check in (3:00 pm) to your comfortable cottage for two nights. Each cottage has three bedrooms (one with twin beds, two with queen beds), full equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with open fireplace, four piece bathroom, outdoor deck with gas BBQ. All are located directly on the waterfront with deck furniture and private dock Ideal for four singles or two couples per cottage. Two restaurants (one pub style with Patio, one upscale - both featuring Black Angus beef raised on the resort property) are open for Friday evening meals at participants expense or your cottage is fully equipped to prepare your own meal. Evening briefing in the Wild Blue Yonder Pub at 2100 (9:00 pm) Saturday morning breakfast buffet. Depart for the 400 km rally. Ride individually or in groups. Spouses/families who attend but do not wish to ride have use of the resort facilities for the day. Spa appointments, horseback riding and ATV Safaris may be booked prior to arrival. On return from the rally enjoy the resort facilities: Indoor and outdoor pools, exercise and spa facilities, completely equipped waterfront with canoes, kayaks, fishing boats, pontoon boats, tennis courts, hiking trails, horseback riding, sightseeing flights etc. or head to the outdoor patio at the Wild Blue Yonder to enjoy local tap beer. NEW THIS YEAR! The Saturday night steak dinner will be held indoors! We think that we have run our luck out on perfect weather for the past four years and want to take out an insurance policy with a roof! Also it will be easier for the restaurant staff to be able to put on a first class affair when the dinner is located closer to the kitchen. We will still have the kegs of beer and the fire going out front!

new to me
Hello, I just bought a 2012 G650GS and will be looking to find some places to go, things to do. This is not my first bike but it is my first enduro type other than an old KE175 and my first bmw. I hope to be able to go more places and have more fun with this bike than my cruiser. Is there more details about this eoar 2013 somewhere.
Tks

Pretty sure I am in, just working out the logistics of the trip.
(this is the rally where I first met Dr Cool) There may be a number of us Winnipegers heading there this year. Waiting for them to chime in

Are there some shorter length dirt trails close to the resort? I have a blue-plated 1979 IT 175 two stroke that I would like to bring out to the event (it is the only street legal bike I have).
I went with the "slow" dirt group the last time there with my DRZ 400. I had trouble keeping up with the "slow" KTM 990's! I know the IT will not keep up that pace. If there are some people that wanted to do some trails with small displacement bikes, I think it would be a hoot.
