NZ great country

Hi all, just spent 2 weeks on a cruise ship, Melbourne around NZ starting North with Auckland & ending up at Milford sound.

What a stunning country, loved it...did a quad bike tour at Wellington & none of the BS we have to put up with in Australia.
Will be back for a drive or ride holiday for sure

You weren't on the one of the cruise ship New Years day? There were huge nos of passengers wandering around Wellington where things were basically shut. Spot of bad planning there...

Close but we were at Auckland on new years day...didn't go to any shops in Wellington only the Quad bike adventure.

your quad bike ride was where I ride most weekends (got home from there about 2 hours a go) - its a stunning area.

Sure is a top spot, I asked about the greenies !!! (most areas in SA are closed down) Would love to ride those trails on a solo.

I don't know Steve, what do they call guys on cruise ships ? lucky comes to mind, get to see some great places & really enjoyed NZ & I'm sure NZ makes money from the cruise ships so what's the problem ?

From what I saw NZ on a dirt or adventure bike would be bloody good...lucky buggers.
Don't know what the road bike scene is like in NZ but I ride mainly road here now as the dirt scene is restricted to the max.

Road bike scene is fookin great, too! Not too many straight roads hereabouts, it's why I moved to this side of the Tasman!

Good to hear, I kept thinking why do the Kiwis move to Aust. Would love to hire a bike & travel around NZ
