DR 750 1988 virgin!!

Hi all just bought a 1988 dr 750 needs some restoration just tidying up really. Has got I think a 400 tank in it which looks small and has a poorly repaired split. Looking to replace but parts seem hard to come by any ideas please all most welcome.
