Will you go KTM this time or turn to team red?

A major change in Honda's import decisions would be needed before I turn to Team Red for a replacement to the BMW. Sucks to say this, but I already own the only Honda I'd want.

Looking at 2007 R1200GS's right now.

Like mine a bunch.

No drain for FD that year. Not a huge pain, but a little.

Make sure the antenna ring has been done or you will be stranded.

A few have problems with warpped brake rotors.

I may be around the Polaris/Westerville area tomorrow to grab lunch, depends on when this snow gets in.

I had an '05 before I downsized to the F800. Would prefer to jump to the '08-current generation but am a bit leary of the problems reported with those. The '10 SE would be ideal. Finances say otherwise.

So the MCM electronics cases finally got here. No fault of the shipper, it's just that the Fed-Ex Ground guy who comes to my house is a complete fucking moron. I know this because he replaced me. Apparently, 6" tall house numbers on both sides of my mailbox are too hard to see....and after two calls to the terminal describing my house (those of you who have been here know that my house is fairly unique) I managed to direct him to the correct location...

I digress....

The boxes are damn nice for the under $30 I spent on them. Quad latches, decent hinges, nice gasket, and the damn things are fully foam lined. Pretty good deal if you ask me. I even managed to drop one from about 3' onto my concrete garage floor and it did not crack. It hit on the corner and i was expecting the worst after it was sitting in sub 10 degree weather all day, but it came away with nary a scratch. Looking forward to building some mounting brackets for the Killer.....

Thanks for the quick review on these. I used the coupon you found, plus they had $5 shipping on all orders so I got 2 cases for $60 shipped! Can't beat that. Now to fab up brackets to fit them to my Wee racks.

and from what the reviews on google suggest, customer service is not very good at either location in C-bus

They aren't Pelican's, but considering that the Pelican phone case cost as much as these do, i think they are a good value. I need to figure out some sort of net or something so my stuff doesn't fall out when I open them.

I've eaten at the one in Westerville/Polaris maybe a half dozen times and have never had an issue with service. I just kinda think it's a little expensive for what you get, but part of the price is to pay for the trendiness.....
