Might be worth mentioning again as I've seen a lot of people miss it: Most LEDs are "polarity sensative". If you get the + & - mixed up they do not work at all.

The MM12 replacement is now in stock and ready to ship.

It is very similar in shape, size and function as the much beloved and now retired MM12.

To avoid confusion with the MM12 it has been designated the MM8.

MM8

60 Degree Flood beam means a wider spread/shorter range

LED Luminous efficiency compares to 35W halogens

The MM8 is rated @ 12watts (.09amps draw)

Aluminum housing with a recessed PMMA lens

In a nutshell the MM8 is a low priced LED Floodlight (less than $75 a pair)

I've had a couple people ask how you mounted them up on the Strom?

Did you bolt the mount to an existing bolt/hole? Any chance of getting a close up pic?

I've gotten a few PM's too. I used the supplied bracket mount on the outside of the fender mount. Looking closer last night I remembered we used the supplied bolts as well but managed to break one off in the fork mount for the fender. Drilled it out, and used a set of bolts we had laying around that matched threads. You could even use stock fender bolts if you grind down the heads in circumfrance to fit in the bracket.

Reading that I'm not sure it makes any sense....

Ill take a pic on my next smoke break.
