Hey, Just last weekend a mate and I set out on a nice little day trip, Started at lake William hovel, I wont bore you with track details. altho if interested ask!
We managed to see, Craig s hut, Tomahawk Hut, Refuge #3 hut, The summit of MT Stirling, Lake cobbler and a whole lot of beautiful scenery along the way. I ride a KTM EXC450 ''06 with a 15 liter Safari tank Mate rides a Husaberg FE570 2012 The Trip Was 175km, left at about 8 got back at 6. About 6 years ago I drove a Mack truck up to the top of Craigs Hut.
If you do it again I will join ya. Probably buying a bike this week. |

When I was working with the Alpine Resorts Commision, I was the first person to get a Subaru Sportswagon to the top of Stirling. Everyone knows that Guvvie cars go anywhere and go faster than anything except a rental.
