IMHO horns are necessary on dirt bikes... when a rider falls or does something stupid - and is determined unhurt - then we all sound horns in appreciation of the entertainment. Really a good thing to have on a dirt ride...

Not sure what other use they are....

I can't find the ride report that they did. Any help finding that RR much appreciated. I wanna follow in their footsteps sometime soon.

Anyone here know of a reputable suspension guru in the area? Or, anyone good with rebuilding forks and brazing small holes in old ass dampners?

After riding a ktm this weekend, realized how bad my xr is. Got some cartridge emulators, springs, and probably will order new fork seals and dust swipers while I'm at it. Race tech wants $100 an hour just to work on them without parts, oil, etc.

Star Cycles over by my house is a good suspension guy. I have to go by there tomorrow for some air filter oil, I can ask what his lead time is..

Tree Down

There's a big ass tree across nf 383 just a bit north of SR 367, with a large branch that is about 3 feet off the ground.

You can't see it until it's too late.

If your motorcycle lands on top of you, you will just barely be able to put on your own drawers the next morning.

I travel that way quite a bit, and usually at a high rate of speed -the maximum allowed 35 mph being a high rate of speed. Heal up quick, or get some help with your drawers

NEWLY downed logs (or wash outs) on familiar byways are a real problem. I can think of 4 really bad crashes on newly downed logs. Our beloved Inept is the classic example.

I hate that milisecond of pannic when you first have to decide - stop or go for it -

Sorry to hear you got hurt.

Get well soonish.

Was riding my 525/540 KTM. When the dust cleared, it was laying on top of me with the engine screaming like a two stroke. I was scared to move a muscle, lest rear tire find some traction. Ridin' bud David dropped his bike, ran over and found my kill button. The bike was still in fifth gear.

It coulda been a whole lot worse, I'm gettin around jes' fine.

Buzz personage, would like to drop off the Beta trials this w/e if your still up for it . . .

Tis good to have a riding buddy that knows where your kill switch is

Trial starts tomorrow in Buzz vs. Technical riding. This could be a long one...
