Pensacola, Fla to Ohio

Making a trip road this weekend. Leaving the snow belt Saturday Feb 2nd heading to Ramer, Tenn for 3 or 4 days then down to Ocean Springs for 3 or 4 days, over to Pensacola til the 15th then north through the Carolinas to Ohio.

Let me know if there are any must see sights to add to my list, I have no planned route, just winging it.

Anyone feels like riding, send me a pm or email through the control panel

Motus just added a dealership in Pensacola somewhere. Might be interesting to see if they have some shirts or literature available at dealership?

Also check out Barber in Birmingham and in Orange Beach.

If you like Mardi Gras, then it's in full swing. New Orleans or Mobile, AL have great parades. Look it up.

Also, if you are in Birmingham one morning, and enjoy breakfast, I highly recommend checking out Another Broken Egg in Mountain Brook.

My favorite Mexican restaurant is about 60 miles East of Birmingham in Oxford. Los Mexicanos near Lowe's. Good place to stop if you decide to drive over the Mt Cheaha, which is the highest point in AL.

There is a cool place call Fiddler's Cafe in Rabbittown. They serve burgers and other food, but have bluegrass concerts on certain nights.

Another good place for breakfast or lunch near Oxford/Anniston is Wagon Wheel Restaurant on Hwy9. Also in Anniston is the Bernham Museum (near the Museum of Natural History). I haven't been there for a number of years, but at one time they had quite a collection of historical weapens.

The International Motorsports Hall of Fame at Talladega Superspeedway is a really cool place to visit. Lots of cool items from NASCAR, but lots of other speed history as well.

On a 950adv. Wife freaked about the snow so I drove to my nieces in Charlotte, heading west to start my counter clockwise loop of the south Sunday morning.

Probably too late, but I like riding along Hwy 98 the Forgotten Coast of FL...St. Marks, Apalachicola, Port St. Joe, Mexico Beach. Plus in and out of Hwy 30...next to the Gulf of Mexico. Then on to Panama City Beach, Destin and Pensacola. Just more interesting than I-10.
