Testing is testing. Racing and first championship points are still a long way to go. You can count on Lorenzo to be there, when racing starts.

But on the other hand, if Rossi goes really well in testing, he should be experienced enough to convert it into a good racing performance, I think. Marquez goes well, but he´s still a rookie in the class, so may have a few problems to do the same.

Also remember the kind of season Lorenzo had last year?? If he keeps that up, there´s absolutely no room for mistakes for anyone who even dreams to challenge him. Like him or not, but he´ll most likely be damn tough to beat for the title again. Being a fraction faster than him on one track, on a single lap, ok nice, but doesn´t really mean much.

But with those three (and Pedrosa, and a few others) I do think this year´s gonna be cracking!

the ducatis are already 2-4 seconds back, not a good sign, I don't see them reducing that gap, remember, the fast guys are only gonna get faster. Rossi is probably too busy smiling and laughing in his helmet to push it any harder.
nice to see the top 4 or 5 pretty close though, hope it stays that way, gonna make for an awesome year.

I watched the highlight feed this morning over breakfast.
Rossi looks relaxed. Spies looks like Rossi did a couple of years ago, "..wtf?"
Nicky looks like he always does; working it. So not even the "BNG" updates for Ducati so far? I'm thinking Audi have a good idea of how big the money firehose needs to be to make it work in MotoGP, and are uninterested. As long as sales are working, let it ride.

Lorenzo and Pedrosa; "... same as it ever was ..."

Mid- April new track? wonder what that will hold? Long time between now and Qatar to me is like Daytona. An odd race in an odd place at an odd time.
So the real season will start in May when the circus gets back to Spain.
