I believe that boat was beyond repair

The keel balast was steel, not lead

And when the water got into it the steel rusted and expanded

Actually bursting the fiberglass

After close inspection I thought that what Don had originally been told was quite right,

It was toast

Brian had it and I don't know what actually became of it

Brian has it in the woods somewhere up there in GA. I couldn't find the money to start the repairs and as it sat there it got a lot worse. So I told him I would come get it off his property and take it to the landfill unless he wanted it. He said he is going to turn it into a tree stand.

So now I'm boatless and bikeless. Oh well.

But... I cant wait for March!

Man that looks awesome, I can't wait to come down and do some chillin on that water. We don't have any clear water like that up here, just the Shitahoochee, that resembles yoohoo at best.
