My cousin is renting paddle boards here at the beach in Weeki Wachee

I'm partial to my solo canoe

Anytime Don. Did you get the sailboat repaired?

I believe that boat was beyond repair

The keel balast was steel, not lead

And when the water got into it the steel rusted and expanded

Actually bursting the fiberglass

After close inspection I thought that what Don had originally been told was quite right,

It was toast

Brian had it and I don't know what actually became of it

Brian has it in the woods somewhere up there in GA. I couldn't find the money to start the repairs and as it sat there it got a lot worse. So I told him I would come get it off his property and take it to the landfill unless he wanted it. He said he is going to turn it into a tree stand.

So now I'm boatless and bikeless. Oh well.

But... I cant wait for March!

The deer will get used to it sitting out in the woods

Might as well make it a feeder/tree stand/shooting blind

Hailey paddling the Weeki Wachee

HoJo prefers helping me paddle in lieu of kayaking

Canoe is loaded with her plus dogs

Man that looks awesome, I can't wait to come down and do some chillin on that water. We don't have any clear water like that up here, just the Shitahoochee, that resembles yoohoo at best.

Trying a new beer tonight

Have always bought Sierra Pale Ale when in CA

The IPA is good and hoppy and at 7.2 it's not lite either

Been about 3 hours since you popped the top off that Torpedo IPA... is the 7.2 working?

Drank three and HoJo said I was slurring my words

Three was apparently enough
