On our DR650's you can get a big bore kit. Expensive and requires expert skill to install. I've ridden a 720cc kit on the DR and was NOT very impressed. Really not much faster (if at all) than my moderately modified stock DR650.

Best of luck with these new mods. They sound awesome!
Same with the KLR, only very minimal gains are accomplished with big bore kits.

They are really performed to eliminate oil burning issues and reduce vibrations.

More power is gained through other mods, although Eagle Mike is working on some bigger big bore kits including a stroker so we will see what becomes of these.

He also has a Fuel injection kit almost ready for sale, but that doesn't interest me because I like the simplicity of the carburetor.
