Just want to get the bike to look stock again, is all.

stocker is a 2.6, my IMS is a 3.2, but actually holds 3.4+ gallons,

im assuming for those of you running the stock tank with the stock BSR mikuni carb, you get about 100 miles and then having to hit reserve, and maybe around 20-25 miles on reserve, giving you a totall of about 125 miles or so?

If that is the case, thats fine with me.

Thanks for your response.

Thank you all for the responses regarding cyrca pro-bend hand-guards. I figured I might have to fiddle a bit to get the right space for my hands etc. I just didn't want to have to trim levers. My only worry is If I put them on my factory bars and then bend those bars and upgrade to a 1-1/8 They wont fit. I guess I can just keep running 7/8 bars though, so that kind of solves that problem. Now I just need to raise the funds to buy them!! Thanks again.

I had a hell of a time getting the cyrca guard's handlebar mount to fit and not interfer with the instrument cluster or the tank upon lock to lock turns.. I even raised the bars 1.5 inches, it helped but not perfect yet. However the original owner changed the stock bars. Still 7/8s but the bend must be different than stock. Looking at alternate bends is mind boggleing.

If anyone has cycra guards that fit without fuss what bar bend do you have? What cyrca mount did you use?

Well thats because you bought chinese knock off hotcama.

The exhaust was 150-180 and intake runs around 125, thats the cheapest I found for hot cams.

Picked up a Trail Tech Vapor for the DRZ and was wondering if there are any tricks to get the tachometer to work reliabily or just wrap it around the plug wire and call it good?

Thanks

Ya know, when a chick shows off her new gucci purse except it says guci, or guuchi.

Here, this is for you, cheers!

I wrapped mine about 5 or so times around the spark plug wire, then put some electric tape over it to keep it in place, been working great for me.

Mine will 'tractor' along on the single track without slipping the clutch quite nicely. He's riding the clutch and keeping the RPMs up to pull his along.

The E already has a better pipe than the S (I think; could be mistaken), so the improvement will be more significant, provided you can get air and fuel into the cylinder to complement the outflow.

Jon
Something is wrong with his jetting, brakes, or technique. S, SM, E will all walk along nice and slow with 14/47 (assuming 18/21" wheels on them) gearing just fine. Fix his jetting, no need in making miraculous claims about E's.
