Can you imagine being the guy who follows Steve Jobs? No way to go but down. A true "take the money while it lasts" gig.

Yup. I doubt he's going to have to worry about money for the rest of his life though - didn't he just get a 140M bonus/stock options

Yeah but it doesn't last forever, esp. in the mercurial computer/ smart phone business. At their apex, both Palm and RIMM were making money hand over fist and looked like they were unassailable in the industry. Then someone came out with a better mouse trap, and the consumer shunned them.

Does the BB10 have a quick release feature for the battery - that would be a great update in order to do faster reboots every few days.

I heard yesterday that the BB10 comes "battery not included".

I even read the feature sheet the other day that said it was no longer necessary to reboot the phone after installing a new app. They're making headway!

Got mine today, and I have to say that I like it.

Of course, as a long-time fan of BlackBerry I have learned to keep my expectations reasonable...

My old BB was one of the toughest (Otterbox) and most reliable phones I've had.
Great battery, esp compared to my EVO 4G.

Now I'm torn between getting another Android and waiting for the new BB.
iPhones don't interest me at all.

That may be true for web designers, but for print and packaging, Mac is still the standard. While they've improved their Windows products, the standard design programs like Adobe Creative Suite are still superior on the Mac platform, and most printers far prefer to deal with the Mac platform. Having worked on both in a professional capacity for almost 20 years, I can definitely say that doing design work on the Mac is still far superior. I do design work embedded in a massive corporation (all Windows) and I have an IT exemption to have a Mac as well, simply because it's far easier to interface with our agencies and print vendors.

I switched back and forth daily with CS2 and had no issues, what part of OSX do you think made it easier for print jobs? I've had no problems using Windows 7 and ID for them so you've got me curious.
