Whack!
I replaced my O2 sensor this weekend, and while I was in the process of pulling things apart, I noticed this on the right fork tube...
https://www.dropbox.com/s/kg8lip7yr4dtnl6/IMG_0066.JPG Quite the dent. Guess that puppy is toast! Does anyone have a spare lower that will fit my 03 1150GS?

Ouch! How'd you do that? Check with Beemer Boneyard.
http://www.beemerboneyard.com/forkparts.html You can also try Bill at Rubber Side Up. Bill is a good guy and has given me a break on advertised prices before. http://www.rubbersideup.com/servlet/StoreFront |

I have no idea!!! You'd think I'd remember something like that, huh? The left fork seal is leaking... guess I'll get a pair of seals, and a new lower. I doubt that will tap out round enough to make a difference.
Yeah, well... this is what happens when you take it off pavement. It's all part of the fun!

I looks like it is on the back side, is it hitting something at full lock or as it travels up?

Yeah... its on the back side. I can't see anything that it could hit, even slamming the stop. One of those mysteries.
Have a line on a couple of complete right tubes... lets see how that goes. At least changing the O2 sensor made a differrence. Today, for the first time all winter, the exhaust was blowing a nice steam cloud. Cat is actually working, so things were lean enough.
