The dealers will be able to view the video after 2 am CST on Friday. That's way too early for me! Sometimes they post it on the consumer website (http://m.powersports.honda.com/model/street) the same time that it is released to dealers. We shall see.

;) I simply don't have a clue why the NC700X and the CB500X are listed under 'Adventure' and the Crosstourer ain't...

Funny people. But... the list in Europe isn't much different these days.

Just read an article of the brand new KTM adventure. Available with either 19" or 21" front wheel. D*m. That bike should have been the new Africa Twin but no one at the Honda R&D departement get's the clue. The XL1000V Varadero V-twin would have been the perfect indestructable engine for such a bike...

Well... lets dream on.

So what does Honda do? Take a niche bike like the VFR800 and make it more "nichy" and price it higher than a base K1300S. Honda desperately needs an updated sport touring bike..

For what it's worth...
I can see the issue with someone looking at buying a new sport-touring/just-touring-but-not-a-luxo-barge ride. The ST1300 is starting to trail the field in technical features, especially cruise control. But if you own one now, I can't see anything compelling enough to trade it or sell it unless you're just wanting out of the niche. Engine heat aside, it's still a fantastic ride.

+ 3 that from my old 1st generation 1993 ST1100
I would still need a good test ride to try the cross tour.
Anyone here got an opinion? Between the two?
