My oath

I promise, when I can FINALLY get the one I'm searching for, it'll NEVER be THAT clean!!

I subscribe to the meant to be a bit dirty camp.

It is a damn fine looking bike though! Congrats!

No skiis but didn't trash it... Not the nicest pic but one of my favourites. 21F that trip so not too bad but lots and lots of snow.

Ontario - Poconos over to NY city - didn't make it that time but it was an adventure...

Do you think everybody would laugh at me if I had a setup like the skis, except balloon tires for the sand? R1150 GSAQuad

Yeah, Graniteone, that's a keeper.

Also kinda funny that you're from Golden and the trees are all golden.

The lack of other stuff in that picture to give scale works great; it looks like the scrub near the wheels in the foreground are trees and that the bike is a 250ft behemoth!

Thanks,... it was one of those highway rides - sunny and cold to start... stormy and cold to finish... one of those just to the next off ramp... okay just the next one... one more.... then oh shit I am riding in the tire tracks of the that big truck up front and shit I can't stop... got the off ramp and sat by the side of the road thinking - shit I can barely move. A guy pulls up in a pick up "you okay"

Uhm... don't think I can go anywhere.

Follow me to my house. It's just down the road.

Feet out riding barely moving.

He puts me up in his heated shop. His wife makes me soup and a sandwich before I even have my suit off. And, he ends up entertaining me until the next day when it broke sunny and warm. He needed to plow out the driveway for me but I made a run up the hill and made it out.

One of those - People are awesome times, I will never forget. One of the reasons it is one of my favourite GS pics... I've got many more beautiful shots but this one reminds me of how cool life can be sometimes.

"Thanks to Larry"
