"Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation made on February 7, with the recommendations of a waiver to travel as tourists to Tunisia, because there is no peace."
D.Sanchez, you carefully study the situation, may be not to go to Tunisia?

I have been in Tunesia in the beginning of 2012. It was a beautifull ride!
If possible I would like to go there again in 2013. For how many days you plan to got there? How about you offroad riding skills? Greetings from Austria!

We just came back from Tunisia and although we were in the 'Rally bubble' we didnt see any trouble and the people were mostly very friendly. I guess you might want to keep away from the Algerian border and the deep south of Tunisia...

Douz and Nefta were absolutely fine. We sat out at cafes in Douz eating and everyone was very nice. Near the Algerian border there were military vehicles but again I didnt see anything worrying. Tunisia is in a mild state of revolution which is just worth being aware of I spose but as I say it was all totally fine for us. I felt very safe there the whole time.
