Saturday could be ride-able. Might be a little muddy.. I'm thinking Warren County, unless someone else has a better idea. My bikes are already trashed. Ha

Donnelson Cycles is hosting their annual Neil Keen Birthday Party (old flat track racers reunion) on Saturday, February 9. Several famous old flat track racers will be there.

I might be in, Do you have a route? Have you done the Mineola Hill area? I don't have a GPS, and don't know any tracks or trails. What time? I'd be leaving from St. Ann. Supposed to be 45-48 degrees and sunny.

Well, I've got tracks, but I'm just thinking the creeks will be up, so the creek roads should be fun..

Meet along 94 somewhere in St Chuck, then run Calloway, Charette, Lost, and Masas.. (Sp) and anything in between..
Unless there's too much water, but as dry as its been, I'm thinking they'll be ok by Sat..
I'm not familiar with Mineola Hill, other than what I can see from I-70, if you know some good gravel roads over that way, I'm interested..

Meet around 9:00. Hopefully it'll be above 30 by then.

Sure. I actually intended to say, off of 64/40, not 94, but that McDonalds Shell works. 9:00..

This is not directed at you but that's pretty silly for the MDC to make such a grand announcement. This is about the same area they let the one go that was trapped by the guy trying to catch "other mammals" down by Centerville last summer.

It's pretty cool though because they have been seen all over the state..I know they are in the Lost Creek area......and I'm sure there is a little "breeding" going on....

A friend of mine used to own 172 acres near the intersection of 19 & A in Shannon County. He saw a mountain lion sunning himself on his front lawn once. His dogs (2 Rottwielers) who would usually tear ass after everything invading their turf, were strangely disinterested.

We also saw bear tracks, scratches on trees, and bear poop. Never saw the bear.

He sold the property to the State about 7-8 years ago.

A neighboring property owner at my place near Peck Ranch said she saw a mountain lion over near Houston recently.
She's an outdoorsy type girl so I would think she knew what she was seeing. She was traveling in her car at the time.
I've been tempted to buy a game cam for my place.
