Boojum,
There is this cool stuff called "humor"...it is when people tease each and say things that stretch reality in interst of humor or being funny. Sometimes it manifest itself in "sarcasim"...you have to be able to smell that though. I think the teasing of Tallguy is not that his bike is clean in that picture, or that a person cleans their bike, but rather that people ride GS's and GSA's that never get used for thier intended purpose...both kinds of roads, paved AND dirt...hence the "dual sport" designation.....and those "dual sports" are not 1} Short drives to the strip mall and 2} competitive coffee drinking. Tallguy, At least in my case, I am just teasing you. your bike is beautiful. Ride it how you wish. But remember, they do NEED to at least GET dirty once in a while so have something to clean.

If I remember correctly it was on Kebler Pass. The fall colors were excellent. We rode lots of passes in 3/ 4 days.

New to me GSA
Here's a picture I have to share with you. This is my new to me 2011 GSA I just picked up Friday. I've been looking for one for about 4 months finally found this one. It had under 400 miles on it when I bought. I don't have any major time off work until end of March, so for now, all the pictures you will see from me are from the beautiful state of Texas.

I am well aware of humor, tounge in cheek, etc............. I am and was refering to those that actually DO think the Dirty GS is all macho. I see at least a dozen or so at each Rally I have ever been to in the past 10 years. TallGuy's bike is awesome, and I was cutting his down at all. Again, IF you think your GS needs to stay muddy and dirty all the time, you have a Macho problem, and/or Little Guy Syndrome............ Hey Ya Mike!! When are you guys coming down south again?? Sure would like to see ya........... ![]() Boojum
