I think gunnerbuck has the Darth Vader! Mines close, but I'm keeping the blue!

can I ask you why you are not breaking the bike down and doing a full maintenance.. seems like the perfect time to do the motor/ shock/fork fluids ??

Ohw i did so! The fork and shock had a complete overhaul.
The engine was withinh its limits of the valves, the changed oil looked very good. And on the first engine run it sounded very very nice. Only thing is the carb that part was also overhauled.

The rear subframe got new coating, the mainframe was still ok.
The rear fork (whats the right name) was also completly overhauled.
So in the end i will have a new bike!

Thar blue one omg!!! But i'm not so keen on all those lethalpowernutricitions..... So no blue one for me

Nice! Any tech info on the paint process? My bike badly needs paint and I have a mate that says he knows what is required for this type of plastic but another opinion would be helpfull. Tony.

Sorry,no info about the paint process. This job was done by a local paintshop, with a lot of knowledge on painting PP go-karts fueltanks. Also the shop paints more plastics parts and they did the job nicely (understatement)
Although the fueltanks had some nasty marks, okay thats what you see directly when fresh painted. Still it look awesome.

Next step the seat and fairingdesign

Im not satisfief with the oem front bulbs/ lighting

First i had the idea to put in both bulbs hid's but theres not a quite good solution for it.

So after some surfing around and changed my goal on low and high beam led aftermarket bulbs and found this one:

Because the limited dimensions around the nav tower its i think the best solution....
Any remarks on this idea????

Another day in paradise

RNS will be delivered next week.
Ordered some new components, the fuseboxcover is broken, had to order a complete new one.

Still not sure what to do with the headlights... Its a chapter for later i think. First test ride will be soon.

Could you post a picture of the air intake/airbox assembly from the top or take a picture of the airbox?

I'd like to see how the 660 Rallye get air.
