Yo guys and gals, the wildcat offroad club is going to the dunes on FEB 22nd-24th. My room mate and I are taking our bikes, and there should be a few other bikes with the off road club (everybody else will be in 4x4's of course). If you have free time slap a paddle on your bike and head on down for a fun weekend! Of course we'll be camping friday/saturday nights out there as well.

Am I correct in that tonight is a RG night? If so, are we kicked out if we arrive in a car? (I can't ride after dark.)

You'll fit right in...nearly everybody drives until the temps get over about 85 degrees.

I'm in Vermont waiting on a blizzard to hit so won't be there this time.

Just got back from a 4 day camping/riding trip around Bagdad Az. I found some tracks from a track sharing site - we would have been lost without them. They took us to the "good" stuff - and yes we still did some exploring on our own - but it really helps to have some guides with the big open country in Az.

I need to get some new tires put onto my Tiger (tubeless) this weekend. I usually take my wheels to ESP to get it done as they are/were the cheapest but it looks like those guys are out of town this weekend prepping a race bike. I know pretty much any shop will do it but was wondering if anyone has found a place that will do it for less than $20/wheel (off bike of course). Thanks

No, and if you have never done it yourself it is worth every penny. It takes about 2 dozen times to really get proficient at it and even more to keep from scratching the hell out of your wheels...just ask my 990 ADV rear wheel...I messed that dude up bad.

I think that On Any Moto is still charging $15 per wheel if you buy the tires from them. They are price competitive, but you need to have gotten online prices (including shipping if not free).

Not a dual sport but who doesn't like to watch someone change tubeless tires with just tire levers. Maybe having my wheels all fucked up is worth the entertainment.

The RG nights are the 1st and 3rd Thurs. I think the next one is next week, the 15th. You may wear your moto gear in your car but as of late we just show up in civi's and look for the fun peeps like Don said. :)

Been happy with SWMoto Tire and (at the time I was searching) found them to offer the best price for the combination of tire/mounting. Since then I just keep going there.
