At least if you got stranded you could survive in Takis and cervesa.

Hey everyone how is it goin? I love the pics of all the bikes!
Does anyone have any experience with the dual sport windscreen that pro cycle sells? I saw there project bike and how they tucked it in behind the cowl. I thought that was kind of cool. I was just wondering if anyone has any pictures of the dr 650 with this windscreen tucked inside or not? I like how its small and unobtrusive! Thanks!

Look what I dragged home this week!
Both from my first ride on it today, as I just brought it home the day before yesterday. Naturally, I headed straight for the hills!

It's a little rough (the vinyl on the seat is hardened and cracking off in chunks, and the foam is dust. The plastics are melted a touch from a drop on the right side, and it's got one whole turn signal, lol) but thanks
I got a great deal on it too, dirt cheap and less than 5k miles on it. Unfortunately (in some ways) it won't look so stock for much longer. I've already got orders in for auxiliary lights, LED turn signals, case armor, a Seat Concepts kit, and some other doo-dads. Let the farkling begin! |

Just wanted to show our working horse, after nearly 80000km, replaced the lost sidepanel by a piece off tin. Took an Hepko-Becker carrier, from a KLX650, it nearly fits. The nice two coloured seat is replaced by a pont foil for small gardenponds, costs 1,50 Euro and we have it since 5 years.
Had to sink down the bike for my wife, so i cutted the underside off the foam and could keep the shape off the seat. What you can`t see, is the windshield from a DR650R, keeps a lot off wind away. The bike is the cheapest i ever had. It is from 1996, first owner, beside the bracking discs, nothing replaced, never been at the dealer for service, checked the valves three times and never cleaned the carburatores. Ok, now the third clutch, that is all and the third batterie. Still running every day and returns home, always save. Hans |
